A vertical warehouse with internal lift is an automated storage system designed in order to optimize the available space. In comparison with the traditional warehouses, which use the space mainly horizontally, the vertical warehouses exploit the height of the premise in order to maximize the storage capacity with a reduced footprint. The internal lift is a key component of this system to take the internal trays and locate them in the working bay. The vertical warehouses with internal lift, also called with shifted trays, are ideal for the storage of medium-heavy materials since they have a lattice frame structure very solid and a load capacity for each tray really high.
